Job Responsibilities
- Scan, convert, and organize physical documents into digital formats (PDF, TIFF, etc.) using high-quality scanning equipment.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure digitized documents meet established standards for accuracy and clarity.
- Index and categorize digital files, ensuring proper metadata and naming conventions are applied for easy retrieval.
- Maintain and operate scanning equipment, ensuring regular maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize and manage digitization projects effectively.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA data protection regulations and company policies regarding confidentiality and data security.
- Assist in developing and implementing best practices for document digitization processes.
- Archive and manage backups of digital files to prevent data loss.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in document scanning, imaging, or archival processes is a plus.
- Experience using scanning equipment and document management software.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and rectify discrepancies in documents.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Basic understanding of data privacy and security protocols.
