Job Responsibilities

  • Scan, convert, and organize physical documents into digital formats (PDF, TIFF, etc.) using high-quality scanning equipment.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure digitized documents meet established standards for accuracy and clarity.
  • Index and categorize digital files, ensuring proper metadata and naming conventions are applied for easy retrieval.
  • Maintain and operate scanning equipment, ensuring regular maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to prioritize and manage digitization projects effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA data protection regulations and company policies regarding confidentiality and data security.
  • Assist in developing and implementing best practices for document digitization processes.
  • Archive and manage backups of digital files to prevent data loss.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in document scanning, imaging, or archival processes is a plus.
  • Experience using scanning equipment and document management software.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and rectify discrepancies in documents.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Basic understanding of data privacy and security protocols.
